Two members of Milton Keynes’s Creative Ways Taekwondo (CWTKD) club took part in the British Taekwondo “National Poomsae, Freestyle and Para Championships” in Nottingham at the weekend. They both did very well but particularly Zaw Torley (aged 10) from MK.
Zaw came home with the following haul of medals:
His younger brother Zar Torley (aged 7), also competed this weekend and got into the semi-final for his age group. Well done to all our athletes. Poomsae is an element of Taekwondo that involves demonstrating your skills in a choreographed pattern. Anyone interested in taking part in this exciting sport? Please come along and try it out.
